I'm OK. Didn't know of anyone else who was ill. Group situations can be a problem especially since we share food. Although we were a bit compromised with the water situation, everyone needs to be carefull to remember hand washing. Food also needs to be kept cold. Kitchen sanitizing wipes are good for surfaces too. We also had all those little critters with the dirty muddy paws touching every thing too. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to read the news Gage! :(
It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

Gage, that is terrible news. Those little animals add so much to our lives. I am sorry for your loss.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Sorry to hear about Greta, Gage. I wanted to bring my dog with us but didn't and missed her. I try to take the dog with me when I can.
I cut it three times and it's still too short!!

Gage...I'm so sorry about Greta.

I don't know if you've seen this, but it's a poem called the "Rainbow Bridge".
----------------------
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
Shelly

Very sorry to learn about your loss of Greta, Gage and Tanya. She was a cutie. Glad to have met and visited with the three of you camping next door at SLO.

I've had no problems with the SLO Gathering food.

I so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is very hard. I know you and Tanya really loved her. She was a good traveling companion. Take care. :crying1:

:( Gage & Tanya,
Sorry for your loss.....we had a vigil at Dean's place and his dog Chance, passed away this morning as well. Perhaps the two dogs will meet up and play a game of tug of war together??

Joanie

Gage, and Tanya,

Our condolence for your loss. I am sorry to learn that your pet passed away. We love our pets like family, and always worry when we leave them at home while camping.
