Doug,

When Dave, Ron, or another one of our Lopez Lake Gathering photographers posts photos of the "surprise" it will, by far, top your colorful pants for creative wear.
Although, there's an aspect of the the SLO Angels' portrayal of Charlie's Angles that's pretty similar. :?

Almost every morning we had a collection of wildlife stroll through the campground sites. Those who were up early caught a glimpse of our November dinner strutting around. Unfortunately the camera was also still sleeping, sorry no turkey shots. So we roasted their long lost cousin in a 10" DO for dinner later in the evening.
Image

The mule deer greeted us as we drove in to the campground. But they were not very shy and wanted to be the center of attention. Without the SLO Angles they were safe and secure!

To everyones surprise, we were treated to fabulous music to enoy our morning waffles by. There were blueberry, wheat-free, gingersnap waffles with an assortment of jams to enjoy them with. Thanks Slim & Gabby! We enjoyed hearing the old favorites and seeing real records!

The pot luck dinner had a great selection of main course, side dishes and desserts. Which to choose first was the hardest decision to make. Fresh vegetables and TJ Sausage started out the meal. I had forgotten tomatoes actually had flavor. Several cobblers, fruit pies and freshly churned Ice Cream were among the dessert choices.

Dave & I were married on July 6th of this year after a wonderful 4th of July weekend camping at Mount Charleston, NV. We had a small private ceremony dressed as any advid outdoors person would be, Blue Jeans, T-shirts and Flip-flops. What could be more Vegas? Perhaps a singing Raccoon Quartet, with a new version of Girls Just Want to Have fun.

The gathering at Lopez Lake was the perfect spot to announce our wedding and take a few candid shots for the album and our invitations to our wedding party. It is so warm in Vegas during the summer, and since we are children of the 60's we wanted to have a garden party. By October the weather cools down and we begin to enjoy the outside. We decided to have a Halloween Party to celebrate with our friends and family.

With the help of Chris, Dan and John our photo opportunites began. Without futher ado, ready or not here's our big surprise:

Who's the brides in the galley?

Could it be Dave & Kathleen?

Where's the garter belt, I thought you had it!

A Clean Galley is a happy galley. Equal duties in the galley.

I hope you all enjoyed the show and our poke at Girls Just Want to Have Fun! There are additional pictures in the our album.

Since no one posted a lot of trailer pictures I do have these of the trailers that were there. Not as great as some people take  but pictures.

It was a very nice and relaxing weekend. It was wonderful to see some people we haven't seen since last year.

We came home from Lopez Lake on Sunday & I worked like mad for 3 days and last Thursday we headed to Sacramento to help our daughter with a few projects with her moving in and taking a few more things she wanted. We got home Sunday night or really Monday morning at 1am. :SH I'm getting tired of driving up and down California with one trip to IRG.2, one to Roseburg, Oregon and two to Sacramento. :?

So finally a little time to post pictures. It would be better to have names with trailers, but unfortunately I haven't done it.
