Man, I knew I was suppose to go somewhere with the Dalton this month. I've been racking my brain for the last three months trying to figure out what gathering/rally I was forgetting. :? Oh well, next year. Thanks for posting the pics Doug.

Wish you would have been there Gage!....next year, they are going up to Tahoe, same time of year. Hopefully I'll have the Nomad to attend with, that is if I get off the stick and get it going, it's a great bunch of trailers and people...it'll be a challenge to build to those standards. See ya at the Dam at any rate right? Doug

Yep, saw a lot of trailers that I knew. Stand-ups and teardrops.

With your workmanship, I wouldn't worry about a thing. You got to remember. A hand full of those trailers are professionally restored for money.

I'm hopping to take the Field and Stream to Shasta next year but it has to be re-skinned before then. But we will be there.

Looked like all the ttt's were single axels. Are duel axel ttt's allowed??
By the way Doug, found out the name of that trailer that I was asking about. It is a "Tri State" :applause: Talked to a neighbor who had a TTT in his back yard and it had on the top rear, "Tri State" and he told me that his Dad had a 1979 Tri State. I hope that he is right. Am going to take it down and let him look at it. Cross your fingers.
Gage, might bring it with me to Shasta, either there or IRG.
Bruce :)

Well Bruce, IRG is for Teardrops and it must be vintage to go to Shasta (and be with the group).

This is vintage:

I thought 20 years or older was considered vintage (antique) that was the way the DMV use to determine if your vehicle was qualified to wear a vintage liscence plates, But that may have changed??

Well DMV and Vintage Trailer and also Vintage Car organizations work with different rules. You never know what the last year is accepted by the different sponsored organizations. They will post the cutoff date for vintage trailers and cars when they announce the event. But will allow all teardrop trailers because they look vintage. Did you know that the cutoff date for 'Hot August Nights' is 1969?

The Goodguys event is 1972 cut off. 1972 is viewed as end of the muscle car era. Goodguys claims they cut it off at 72 because of space issues.
