SCTT Gathering 2010

Postby Teardrp DeBono » Tue Mar 09, 2010 10:53 am

Anyone attending the SCTT gathering at Lake Perris next week? I've not seen any mention or maybe I'm not looking in the right area.

Hope to see you there.

It's strange going to a teardrop rally like SCTT, and seems (at least the people I've met) participants don't know about this website. Not all, but many don't have a clue, or don't frequent this website. I should be there for a day visit as a spectator.

yep on Thursday

Postby kartvines » Tue Mar 09, 2010 6:07 pm

We will be there late Thursday, posted something about it here earlier today. Two posts are always better than one. More people may see it.

Cliff you are correct, that is why this year I am coming supplied with home printed pamphlets I made, explaining what a teardrop trailer is, and a link to this site as well as to the Tearjerkers site. Maybe that will help spread the word, and get more folks interested in Teardrop Trailers.

We will see you all there. Mike and Carolyn aka kartvines

We will be there....this will be our first event since adopting our Lil Armadilla in the Great State of Texas....will arrive ASAP Friday late afternoon or evening....we live 30 minutes away in the Hemet valley but teachers don't get to leave with the bell  so will not be participating in the Dutch Oven event.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Good looking forward to meeting you folks, this is only our 4th year but always have fun.

The Dutch Oven Potluck was so much fun last year I'll be there trying a new recipe.

Bonus is, it looks like weather should be good for the four days.

Great, it's fun to see how different all the teardrops are. Last year there were more than 100 variations.

I have changed my mind I will be going on Thursday with Joe. Bud and Leo are headed out Wednesday. Keep you eye out for those two old geezers as they tend to get lost.

Who says? I've not gotten any e-mails about that. I looked on the Lake Perris Campground site and they will only be open Thursdays through Mondays but that is when the camp out is planned.

If you are planning to get there on Wednesday you should give the park a call.

Here's a link to the state site for more info. http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=651

It really should have nothing to do with the gathering.
