I'm going to an event in Flagstaff Sept 5-9 and I'm planning on camping. The KOA is close to the event.

Maybe you would like to join me? Flagstaff in early September should be fantastic and there is lots to see and do there.

Why do a KOA when there are so many gorgeous campgrounds between Sedona and Flagstaff? I might join in if that is where you go....

As I mentioned before I have another event that I'm attending. It is at Little America. The KOA is less than two miles from Little America, so that is why I suggest it. Do you know another within that radius?
One of my favorate campgrounds is

Sorry, I do no know of anything specific, but I will see what I can find.
I just remember traveling the road between Sedona and Flagstaff, and there were a number of beautiful camping areas. Unfortunately it was 4th of July weekend, and I was traveling with a teenager who wanted to get home to her boyfriend (lol...), so I did not stop to check things out.

It is official I made my Reservation at the KOA for the 5 to 9th. That is a Monday through Friday. I am open to adding either the weekend before or after if we have weekend only people.

Camping in San Simeon, hoping the fog burns off today...

Of course, it's supposed to be 100 in Paso Robles (20 miles inland) today.
Have a great time in Flagstaff!
Come on up

Actually cleared up and saw the sun here on the Coast, nice day on Sunday. Read in the paper that it hasn't reached 70 degrees in Los Osos in the past 3 months. Dean isn't the only fog crawler.
