Comments -- need a stop - previously done GC and we've heard good things about Zion, Bryce is too far I think.
1 1/2 days in zion
We pass the edge of Lake Powell, but I've seen a lake.
Chama gathering.
Mesa Verde is on the Bucket List. 2 - half days?
Bedrock Camp we need a stop and that seems to hit right.

Sounds like a great trip.

Some other ideas on the way back. If you are going to be coming back along I 40, you might consider staying at one of the lakes by Williams, there are two and both are within a couple of miles of I 40. There are also some nice campgrounds just south of Flagstaff on Lake Mary rd and again quicker to get to and more scenic than Flintstone village. There are also plenty of spots to disperse camp within the Coconino forest.
