This is your Nanny here to let you know we have about a month to go until we get to call in to make reservation for the IRG (International Redwood Gathering) in the northern coastal redwoods. WE WILL NOT KNOW THE DATES UNTIL AFTER JANUARY 1st, 2014. Dean (Fogcrawler) and I look forward to meeting up with our friends this coming summer. Our window period for scheduling is the third or fourth week of July....this is our target date range. With the new phone-in system we won't know if these dates are possible/available until the morning of Jan. 2nd. After that we can release the information on our website for the IRG where you can print out a registration form to MAIL in to us. See the icon link below to browse the site. (http://www.pamplingrove.com)
REGISTRATION IS NOT YET OPEN.

Some of our previous campers should know that I had a flood at my house which caused all my records of IRG 1-3 to be destroyed.
I DO NOT have names, addresses, emails, etc. from prior years to refer back to.... :? so when you fill out your forms please give me a self-addressed stamped envelope with your reg. form and payment so I can confirm your payment and placement.

Thanks to all our friends for making this past decade of Teardropping an AWESOME experience.

Looking forward to the IRG. I rebuilt my trailer about a year ago but it never left the garage all year as I was dealing with health issues with my father. Sadly he passed away a couple of weeks ago less than 45 minutes short of the anniversary of mom passing the prior year. (dad 11/14, mom 11/15)

Once I get things settled with the house etc I hope to actually use the trailer again in 2014.

Doug

This event sounds really good. I haven't been to a teardrop event yet but do have reservations for the dam event in May. I will try to attend this also.

I will be waiting for details. The IRG is one I would really like to attend sometime. Maybe this year will be the charm.

Attending IRG was one of the best times of my life. I was a newbie camping in a tent. Even the damp cold under the redwoods did not dampen my enthusiasm (much). I had the pleasure to camp with Joanne (builder of the Desert Dawg) and Steve Tripp. There was plenty of good eating, and warm friendship around our camp fire. Hope to attend again with better accommodations. There was so much to see and good people to meet it was overwhelming in the best way imaginable.

Belated best wishes to the newly marrieds, Joanie and Dean, too! :) :applause:

Sorry to hear of your loss. Doug, we too, hope that you get the chance to get out this year. A cruise and a few campouts always help the mental outlook.

Your neighbors at the last IRG.

Teardop Nanny, I'm looking forward to attending once again. It is my favorite gathering, thanks to you folks. This year I plan to bring my newest creation teardrop. No vertical walls, no flat roof, no square or round corners, no curved areas, no doors or openable windows, plenty of sleeping room in the 7 ft bed for me and my TWO dogs. This may be the only TD that has a doggie door and no visible tongue. Oh the humanity, it's almost finished. See ya there.
:? :R Roly, thinking this one is the last one out of the box.

8) We will be working on the website soon to update it. Then, Dean will prepare the registration form for release after the 1st of the year. We hope that the site will run flawlessly for the downloading frenzy..... Please remember a SASE.

Doug H., condolences for your loss. :worship: We look forward to your return.
I am currently in the same situation with my 91 yr. old Dad. He and my Mom (going on 66 yrs. married) came to IRG 1-3.

And Roly, it must be triangular in shape.... :scratchthinking:
