Anybody going to Bonneville this year ?

Last year I went to both events
(Speedweek and World of Speed)
It was awesome and I enjoyed all the site's and sounds as well as doing some youtube filming.

This year im just going to WoS since gas and other factors limit me.
Bringing the trailer again cause having shade was great

No, for me. I haven't been there in about 2 decades. Enjoy!

The first time I went in 2008, it was super wet out there. Coming off "lands end" my side pipes were gurgling in the water.
Last year it was dry, perfect for spectators. Salt didn't stick to the tires and hardly any in the wheel wells. This year is probably even dryer.

Anyhow I was starting to get the hang of filming out there and enjoying it.
This year I have new equipment, a new 300 lens and gopro .

For you and everybody else who is there, I hope the rain stops and the sun shines.

It's supposed to be a dry lake....

Looks like "bend in the road" camping area. Brutal.
Landracing.com said it's worse there than on the salt , but still there's an inch or so at lands end.
Wanted to go so badly but kept checking the site this morning. I stayed home.

Oh well, there's always World of Speed in September.
