My restoration project still is not completed, but thought I might try going to this event for a afternoon just to start meeting other and seeing other teardrop.

Any problems with folks like us just dropping in? How much for this?

Gage, I guess I can put a booklet together. Showing what I have done so far with photos of what it looked like before. And how I am coming along restoring the "Scad" So I do not feel out of place.

My wife said it sounds like something we could do, so hopefully we can see ya around noon on Saturday the 15th of April.

Heck, bring it down if you can. They don't have to be finished to show off. The first time I took mine down to Sweetwater, I couldn't even sleep in it.

Have a good day and we'll see you down there.

Yeah it's cool when you see the trailers in there build state. There's always a few there. Bring it and sleep in a tent if it's not done, there is a nice grassy area in the middle of the park. :picnic:

Bill, just take the 118 to the 5 and then straight down the 5 to the 805. Take the 805 thru San Diego to Bonita Rd. (E st.). First off ramp past hwy 54. Go east on Bonita (if you get to the ocean, turn around and go the other way) Be sure to stay on Bonita, do not turn left and go over the bridge. Follow the little teardrops. ;) It should take you between 3 and 3 1/2 hours, about 170 miles.

Have a good day.

Oh, the little teardrops are signs shaped like teardrops.

Gage, if my tear was skinned or licensed I would bring it down, but I hate to see what the weather or highway wind would do to the trailer without the doors , skin etc. By the time I got there I may have top start over.

We will see you there

Mike

10th Southern California Touring Tears®

Anniversary Gathering

April 14 > 16, 2006

Your registration form has been received. Thank you for joining the fun at the 10th Gathering. We look forward to visiting with you. Below are a few reminders to ensure that everyone has a great time:

Camping in teardrops only - teardrops have priority and there is not room for large RV’s and teardrops in the camping area. We are hoping for 200 teardrops to help celebrate our 10th Anniversary. Please park in a manner to allow 3 to 5 teardrops per site. Some vehicles may need to park on the street.

Camp sites WILL NOT be assigned. First come, first serve.

Rain or shine. The weather gods have blessed us in the past, but it never hurts to be prepared - to protect from all the sunshine!

Each site has water and electricity. Bring your own power adapters, extension cords, etc.

Dogs must be on a leash at all times and must be cleanup after immediately. Don't be the reason for a "no dogs" policy.

Although Sweetwater Park is an equestrian park, due to the large number of teardrops and in consideration to fellow Teardroppers, please, no horses.

Additional information & registration forms are available on the S.C.T.T. web site at www.TeardropTours.com For more information call or e-mail Brad at 619-992-1088 or David at 760-285-2319 or 760-285-2318 or [email protected]

See you soon and travel safely!!
