Hey, does any body have software to organize their recipes? I'd like to buy one and type up the collection that I have accumulated since I was a young teenager. Some of them are from the first recipe box my Grandmother gave me for my 16th birthday. She wrote them all up by hand and they are precious to me. I want to put those and all the other's that I've collected into the computer and print them out as gifts for my children.

Does any one have experience/opinions about the software that is on the market. I googled it and there as SOO many to choose from. Therefore, I turn to you, my teardrop friends because I know you will know what's what!! Thanks for your help!!!

I use Living Cookbook. It was about 30 bucks. Real easy to use. It also allows you to import recipes from the web real easily. You can also add your own picture to each recipe.

I use Mastercook. The interface takes some getting used to, but it's got all the features you could want. I think I paid $19 the last time I bought it.

My sister, who is a fantastic cook, uses MasterCook, and swears by it. I do think it has a little bit of a learning curve, but she loves it.

Thanks guys. I knew you would know something about this. I really appreciate the input. You know when you google something you can really get overwhelmed with the information you get!

I made my own using Microsoft Access.
