2 lb salmon filet, cut in half to fit COBB
rub olive oil on top
a few drops of fresh lemon juice and salt and pepper

On My COBB BBQ I used 7 briquets, heated until 30% lit, put on grill with salmon and covered with dome top. 20-25 minutes later we had the best BBQ'd salmon we've have ever had.

Christine,

Do you carry your COBB BBQ in your tear or the tow vehicle? At dimentions of 12" x 12", it would not fit in any tear cabinet that I have. It does seem very efficient about charcoal use. I like that. But, I am wondering. At $129-149, it seems pricey. I am currently carrying a small Weber grill, but it is awkward and really does not fit anywhere very well. And it does not produce satisfactory BBQ.

Thanks

You need to try cedar planks for the best salmon. You can either buy cedar planks from gourmet food stores or go to your local Lowes and buy some planks there. Soak it in water for an hour or so. Then put it on the grill till it starts smoking and place your salmon on top. Don't know how it'd work on the Cobb

Hey Sandy,
(I'm assuming you don't actually go by"San Diegan" and since you didn't sign your post...)

Camping World has it for $89 - $80 for President's Club members. I don't have one yet, but intend to get one.
