BBQ Time Cold Pasta Salad

Ingredients List:

Great Value Mostorccioli or Ziti Pasta 16 oz 1 box $ .78
Deluxe Stir Fry Vegetables (frozen) 20 oz 1 bag $2.33
Reese Water Chestnuts (sliced) 08 oz 1 can $ .93
Great Value Grated Parmesan Cheese 08 oz 1 jar $2.36
Ken's Dressing Creamy Caesar 16 oz 1 bttl. $2.48
Garlic Powder (optional) 2 table spoons

Lay the bag of frozen vegetables on a couple paper towels on the counter to thaw.
Mix Parmesan cheese (about a third of a jar) and garlic together in a small bowl..
Open and drain water chestnuts.. set aside..

Cook Mostorccioli or Ziti Pasta per directions on the box..
Once pasta is cooked, drain in a colander..
Using a large bowl, add cooked (drained) pasta along with the partially thawed vegetables together and mix well..
Add the water chestnuts, Parmesan and garlic and continue to mix.. add the full bottle of Ken's dressing and stir gently..

Cover the bowl with lid.. and set in refrigerator until good and cold.. or pack on ICE in cooler..

Great with BBQ meat of any type.. hamburgers.. sandwiches.. etc.. enjoy... :D


Makes 6 – 8 servings, depending on size of servings..
