2013 Home Build. $5500.00

Postby azishome » Sat Sep 27, 2014 8:50 pm

I had a great time building it but after two camping trips my bad back will not allow me to use it further. Hate to sell it but I have no choice. It is a 4X8 with A/C, sink, fresh water tank, electric fresh water pump, spare tire, four built in stabilizer jacks, memory foam mattress, huge built in ice chest (that is the thing below the A/C up front). I have more pics if you are interested. Absolutely like new and looks awesome (even if I do say so myself, lol.). Email: [email protected]. Thanks for looking.

Hate to see you sell such a nice looking teardrop. Maybe a better mattress? When I first built my Teardrop the wife has some hip issues and I added on top of on my 5" mattress a memory foam topper and that took the pressure off enough to make it work for her.

Thanks much for the kind comments and the suggestion on the bed, kayakdlk. The problem is that if I sleep laying down on any form of mattress my back takes two hours to get free from pain every morning. If I sleep in a reclining position I wake up pain free. I have even taken to carrying along a zero gravity lawn chair that reclines with us when we go to a hotel for the same reason. Just not enough room in the teardrop for a recliner, lol. So my plan for cheap, easy camping is not going to work out.
