2005 DougKraft "The Comet" - For Sale $6000

For sale is this remarkable 2005 "The Comet" Woody by DougKraft (Doug Hodder). I believe this was Doug Hodder's first tear drop and is definitely a collectable. It is 4' by 10' (13" tongue length) with "Trailer for Two" classic profile based on a 1940's original. Top is swirled aluminum, sides are mahogany, interior is birch. Sides are sealed with epoxy and top and sides are finished with automotive clear coat paint (refinished in 2014). Very low maintenance and the trailer has always been garaged when not on the road.

Has multiple speed vent fan and 12 volt lighting for interior exterior and galley. Built on 2 by 2 steel tube frame with a 4" dropped axle. Tongue jack, 2" coupler and 4 pin connector. 205 by 75 R15 radial trailer tires. Two trailer hitch receivers have been added to allow for a bike rack as pictured. Extremely solid build.

- 4"foam mattress with cover and 2" foam pad. Very comfortable.
