I'd take a Doug Hodder trailer over that in a heartbeat.

Someone will buy it and park it by their pool and use it as a porta bar to impress their friends.

Does it bother anyone else that something built in 1992 is called "vintage"?

My 1993 Chevy pick up that I bought new now qualifies for a vintage license plate this year.

The flyer says the auction is 27 January 2023, 10:00 MST.
I look forward to learning what it actually sells for.

If I were to build a teardrop as art, I'd only make it 4 feet wide--much cuter that way. 8 feet long for the same reason. The sleeping area can be 5 feet long, so I can build in a closet (for my fox hunting outfit) in the front and a nice (looking) deep galley, complete with wet bar, in the back.

I'd varnish the wood on the outside (no need to worry about rocks from the road!)

No need to worry about pesky insulation, heating, or cooling.

Fans in the roof look so ugly; much nicer to have vents in the walls near the top, like the teardrop came out of the 1940's.

Arts and Crafts style lighting, along with camp chairs to match.

A croquet set in the tongue box!

The list goes on and on. "Practical" kills the fantasy.

$42,000... .... I think I'll be keeping the $10,000+ "piece of ART" I already own and would be using the other $32thou -left over- to help pay for that 'new' truck "piece of ART" I want instead...... it's only $$$ - here today = gone yesterday...............(and if I did have that kind of money to spend = I would rather spend it on one of them "pieces of ART" I've seen coming out of Danny's workshop instead!!! see top of this page)
