Has anyone ever seen a Sunline Sunspot?

Postby Gaelen » Fri Jun 08, 2007 10:46 pm

Just ran across this one, less than an hour from home...I don't believe I've ever seen anything by Sunline quite this small before. Anyone else ever see something like this?

Kinda looks like a "Grasshopper" ...another long lost TTT brand you don't see many of.

I did find these pics here:
http://tnttt.com/album_cat.php?cat_id=6

and these pics from a Shasta rally:
http://www.swvca.com/tsr3.htm

and a .pdf for a 1974 Sunspot with specs: about 5 feet wide, 10 1/2 feet long, 95# tongue weight and total weight of around 560#, with a 6' exterior height on 13" wheels. The back looks like it opens into a chuck wagon-style kitchen with cargo-trailer style doors, instead of the lift up hatch a teardrop would have.

I have to cater dog show judges' lunches this weekend, but maybe I can sneak down the road for a quick look tomorrow afternoon...

thanks, guys....I did find out that it's on a dealer lot in Cortland, and couldn't reach the seller over the weekend. So I'm hoping I can get down to see it tonight or tomorrow. Still no bids, so if it's in good shape... ;)

Ebay says its sold.

Looking at those back upper doors ... the dreaded 'hatch' would be absent, if one wanted.
