For Sale - Frame

Perfect for that teardrop that you want to build.

Originally from a 1965 Scotsman - Owner wanted to convert to Teardrop, but lost interest.

The Frame is for sale, very cheap at $100

Location: San Diego, CA

Is this the drop floor frame that was on Craigslist?

If so can you tell me the condition and dimensions?

Claude, have you got any pictures? My tear is made from a 1964 Scotsman. I also may be interested.

P.S. Jim, the Scotsman didn't have a drop down floor. The Scotty has the drop down floor.

Here's the one I saw- it looks rough but if the frame is sound might be good for a nice low-profile standee canned ham. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/rvs/424052014.html

Let me check with my wife. If she's ready to file divorce I might go grab that frame...

I hope one of you can get this. I found his "ad" on another list and told him to post it here.

My new build is on a modified '76 Scotty Sportsman frame. I like it because it is ridgid but fairly lightweight using a lot of 1" angle iron supports under a 2"x2" box outer frame. I would be interested in seeing pictures of this frame and axle.

Yes - The photos are on eBay

BTW: I would have not placed it on eBay if there was any early interest in this group.

I had posted this frame about a month ago here, and had no takers. So, I decided to take it to eBay.

I would gladly have dealt with Gage or any other TearDrop builder.

I am a bit embarrassed - I just found the missing notifications from this group -

The SPAM filter marked them as SPAM and placed them in the SPAM filter trash location.

I am sorry and apologize to all that I did not get their messages replied.

Hey Claude, that's cool. I didn't want the Scooty frame but did want your frame. I just have to figure now if I want to snip the deserthawk or not. Wonder how I missed it the first time you posted it. I've had a lot on my dinner plate lately which may be part of why I missed it. And I'm not going to be in town when your auction ends.
