Come to think of it PanelDland, one of the people who saw the ad on Craig's list and expressed interest in the tear met with me for a showing. They wanted to buy it on the spot, but wanted to offer "little or nothing"....basically at the cost that they thought the material to build one would cost. I would have been willing to work them on a good offer (a bird in hand), but they seemed to be trying to get something for nothing. After I wouldn't give it to them at their extremely low price, they insinuated that they would take their money and build one.
To build or not to build is totally up to the individual. Most people who purchase tears could build one themselves, but they don't have the time or want to spend the time to build (nothing wrong with either case). But the reality of the situation is that when a person buys a completed teardrop, they have not only saved themselves a great amount of time, but blood, sweat, and tears...and some more blood.
Once my home computer gets off the blink, I will put up for auction again on E-bay.
