Hey, you could share a TD with a LOT worse than me. I'm deeply offended. :fb

That would somewhat go against the reason I am selling my current TD -- to build one.

But for $900 you would have something to use until the new one is done and then sell the $900 one!

The local REI is holding a tent for me to pick up later. I already have a top-quality tent, but the new on is tall enough that I can stand in it to change clothes.

That should keep me camping until I get my build done.

I'm going to build the TD on the floor in the garage first, and then have a trailer made to go under it. Or, maybe I can talk Spinnernut into teaching me how to weld and help me fabricate the trailer. He's good at it, and I hear his price is right.

Either way, I want to make the trailer conform to the TD, and not the other way around.

Well, the deal is closed. So, I'm temporarily without a TD.

The buyer is a contributing member who has never actually posted -- he's been lurking and looking for a TD for a while. He's a super nice guy. He plans to become active, now that he is a TD owner.

His forum handle is rwolfgra. Let's be sure to give him a warm welcome to the brotherhood of the Teardrop when he does post. He told me he's working on an avatar now, so he should be posting up soon.

It sure is a pleasure to deal with a nice person when you buy or sell something. I could not have asked for a better buyer.

Congrats CD!! :applause: I am really looking forward to watching you build a TD. I can not begin to tell you how rewarding it is to build one. I hope you plan to take picutres and keep up posted.

If you need any help with the frame give me a holler, I'm a machinist/ fabricator but not so talented with wood. Maybe we could swap out labor if I decide to build my own. I'm just up the road in Lewisville.

I'm a happy (soon-to-be) camper. Not only did I get a swell customized TD, but I was treated really well too! Especially during that embarassing faulty wiring ordeal with my vehicle.
I'll be introducing myself soon on the noob's board. I'm kind of slow and quiet though....
Thanks again, CaseyDog! I really appreciate all the work and imagination and care you put into this thing. Can't wait to see your new one!

Howdy!
It's definitely going to remain the Caseykraft. Any changes will be additive, not subtractive I think. Have a lot of learning to do though.
In Pauls Valley.
I feel like I already know a bunch of the folks here just from lurking the last year. Believe it or not, you already pretty much know me. I'm the quiet one in the corner. javascript:emoticon(':)')
Once I get my tear legs, perhaps I'll try coming 'round for a visit in person with everyone else. Everybody seems pretty swell.
Thanks!
