Why on anyone's green earth would someone sell the boat off the top of that trailer? That's like selling your tires cause you need gas money!!?!?

Nice little trailer though.

There is a guy in the North/West that has the molds for that trailer and is or was producing them and the boat. But I don't know who he is or where exactly he's at. I know my friend across the street knows. Maybe someone else on the board knows.

Well, It and I are back home. There's a few cosmetic blemishes, but the trailer is gorgeous.

He's showed up at a couple TOW gatherings. There was two of those at the LeMay gathering this year, one pulled by a 1954? Caddy & one by a 1954 Ford. The original producers was Trailorboat Engineering of San Rafael, CA during the years of 1961 - 1964 and only produced less than 500 units.

No real modifications planned - all practical stuff (to me at least).

So far my list is:
Hatch locks (done) - They had been replaced with 1/4 turn cam locks, I replaced them with Combi-Cam locks
Door latch - Don't have a key, and loose machine screws, I'm not too sure the previous owner understood how machine screws work
New trailer wiring - not a terrible mess, But I'd like to get rid of the scotch-locks
Good safety chains
110v and 12v wiring - not a biggie, but I'd like to be able to charge the computer with it inside of the trailer
Stereo - for when cooking
Interior Lighting - conveniences
Repair the ding in front

Possible additions to the list are:
New tongue & coupler - things too darn short, I can't open the back doors on the van with it attached
Replace windows - a definite maybe - but I'm thinking some of grant's radius sliders would look great

BG, get ahold of our member Dan Imming. He has/had a complete TrailorBoat here in Kansas. I've never seen it in person but his has the boat on top. He's got alot of info on them, too. Very informative guy.
