you might have to have special clearance if they know there is a fuel canister even if it's empty. Don't know but it's just a thought. I wonder how the cast iron dutch oven got to England. or did it?

US Postal Service. It was expensive at around $50.00 (but less than the cost by UPS or Fed Ex).

If it leaves the USA without problem it will get here. Can the tank be taken apart? Or seperate from the Stove?

If the Postal Service will not accept it I do have an alternative. ;) Its a long route but it will work. ;) It will just include shipping within the USA. Last resort though  If all else fails send without tank
and I,ll have to order a tank new from someplace direct.. :?

If one doesn't volunteer too much information it shouldn't be an issue.
Come to think of it they ship lanterns all the time and the tank pretty much stays with them.

i just pumped up the tank. (i haven't used this stove)

anyway, the tank (& gaskets) hold pressure = no leaks!

i have to get a bigger box, in order to package this bad boy. i haven't heard back from Heikki yet, but it looks like (from checking out usps.gov) that this thing is going to cost $70 to ship to Finland...

i'll just leave the tank in the stove, and package it real solid with bubble wrap etc. and place the tank inside a plastic bag... shouldn't be a problem

so, stay tuned... in case Heikki doesn't wanna pay that much shipping, this thing will be back up for sale!

I think you need to take a trip here to the U.S. and buy suitcases when you get here, pack them full and take them back!

or better yet... move to the USA! ;)

Yup God sure placed us in the wrong country to start. I wish he new before hand that we enjoyed teardrops and everything included in that.

If I ever have the funds to come over Im going to buy me a few suitcases
and go to thrift shops and flea markets and teardrop gathering and see my friends on the forum.
