NEW UK DEALER

Postby Two Showers » Tue Sep 18, 2007 4:44 pm

We are the UK North of England Dealers for the 'SLEEPER' Teardrop. We got into this because I have a spinal injury and ride a Trike. I struggled with putting tents up and so researched Teardrops. I ended up becoming the North UK Dealer.

Our's is aimed at the very light market. AT 100kg rolling weight they can be towed by Trikes, 2CV's, Mini's, Microcars and Kit cars. The unit is fibreglass on a steel chassis and easily accomodates 2 people for a dry warm night. We also do interior fit-outs. It has a door awning or additional Dome awning for that bit of extra space.
I hope you don't mind me putting this on here, but we just want to offer an alternative for those who have small cars that won't tow the heavier tears.

Round Windows

Postby deserthawk » Thu Sep 20, 2007 1:15 pm

Do you offer those round opening windows as an aftermarket item?

If so, where do I order them.

I don't see why we couldn't get you some. They work out at just short of £100 over here. I have no idea what shipping would cost.
Let me know if you need more detail.

How much would the other windows cost that you show in the photo on your left tear? Are they made in the Uk?

I didn't say they'd be cheap. Surely you have something similar available in the States? The windows are £48 each. If you have something cheaper, I'll start buying them from you !!!

Sorry just noticed you're from Finland, but the original enquiry was from States.

Yes Sir, Im from this side of the pond..  Thats for certain nothing is cheap here ...but then I wouldnt have to pay import duty on them..

Can I kindly ask what the dimensions of the windows are on that tear on the left?

And are they acrylic or ? How heavy are they?

Best regards

Sorry, I've not been getting messages about postings.

The basic Kit is £1300, ready built £1600

Unit weighs a mere 100Kg road ready and can carry another 100Kg payload.

More details on the web site www.TurtleTrailers.com

and we no longer act as North UK Dealer for the Sleeper Caravan,

WE BOUGHT THE COMPANY AND ALL THE RIGHTS

So we are now the sole owners and manufacturers for this little unit.
