These are very rare, only a few known to exist and this one looks pretty nice. I don't think the very obedient dog is included.

Hi Nick,

I posted a picture of your 440 Dodge and camper in the counting picture game the other day.

I had no idea it belonged to a member here. I posted it even though there was no #440 showing. I just liked the Dodge wagon.

Steve,

I'm a long time member but don't get on here very often lately. In fact if you look at the hall of fame gallery, my trailer was the first one added. I do try to get on here and share unusual trailers I find.

Nick.

Only 4? Wowsers, thats practically extinct. Makes it even cooler knowing that 8)

Wonder if anyone has tried to reproduce one from scratch? Very practical for a family with youngsters.

Well, the one on ebay makes it three complete but only two with canvas. There is one in Long Beach that wasn't quite finished when production was stopped. Here's a couple of pictures of a restored one with canvas.

that's something....can you get to the top from inside the tear. Is the raised top where all the canvas is stored and is there extra space there as well?

Don't forget that there is a mattress up top, so no you can't get there from inside. As for storage. It all depends on how thick your mattress is. With the top down there is very little free space left. Although you can store your canvas up there. Now if you feel that you don't need the extra sleeping area, then there is a lot of storage space.
