I'd be kind of lire of this. Just may have leak problems in the future. Just my take on it. Here's a quote I picked up from another thread (http://www.mikenchell.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=881585&highlight=#881585).

It wasn't completely finished out by the builder at DM. The inside is not varnished and the galley was not finished out at all. The galley lid blew over and bent the hatch cover but other than that, it's in great shape.

It was built on a 4x 8' frame by Steve Livingood at DM Tears (no longer in business as you noticed.) It was ordered by someone who backed out of the deal and I purchased it with the insides and galley areas unfinished. The inside does have some cabinets and storage compartments but is not varnished. The galley consists of a storage area underneath the flat cooking surface. It has a stereo, 12V battery/3 outlets (no AC) and a spare tire. I also purchase a Sportz SUV tent that fits over the galley and gives more covered/living space. The galley lid did blow over the top in a wind storm, but it has been repaired and does not leak. I have noticed a little bit of water entry into the sleeping area when driving in a very heavy rainstorm. I have done some caulking around the front. The teardrop does NOT leak in falling rain.
