Hi All,

The Puffin is up on Ebay today. She was a joy, but my new toy is taking up all my free time.

Here's the ebay if anyone is interested: http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-29296-235 ... 802&lk=URL

Thanks,
Steve

What's your new toy? :?

Did you already post it, and I missed it?

Ah! The only thing with more rot than an old trailer - an old boat......

Lovely when finished.

packerz4 - Thanks Packerz4. I'm already getting a few questions about the camper and there quite a few people watching my auction.

angib - I still have nightmares about pulling that waterlogged foam and rotten wood out of the hull. *shudder*

Wow Steve, I read through your post of your boat restoration and I was very impressed. The boat looks sweet! If your Puffin is anything like that then someone is going to get a really nice TTT. :applause:

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

Steve
What a nice job!. You are truly a craftsman and to be admired for undertaking such a intense restoration. Most people would have stopped and discarded the mess! You stayed the course (sorry Pres Bush) and have a piece of boating history. May you relax and enjoy your dedication to rebuilding this fine machine!

Pah! Waterlogged foam is no problem. It's 'fungus' that I don't like. That, and anything that winks at you when exposed to light....

I like your comment on the other forum about fiberglass itch and the zen of boats! :D

planovet - Thanks. The boat has been eating all my spare time. :) I have been out on it every weekend (sometimes twice) since Mid February. I'm on my 3rd gallon of 50:1 oil mix.

prohandyman - I've always liked the styling of the old boats. I'm not much of a car guy, but I'll work on a boat all day long with a smile on my face. Strange how it doesn't seem like work when we enjoy it...

Jeeper92 - Yes, BIN is 4000. The shower is a portable pump-up sprayer.

angib - I'll happily take you for a cruise whenever you want to go Andrew. How big of a tank would I need to cross the puddle to your place? I have two 6 gallon tanks in there now - you think a 3rd would do it?

wanders - I heard that the "itching powder" that we could buy in the back of comic books was ground fiberglass. Genious!

It's already up to $2,550 on eBay. Might want to up your offer a bit (Steve did say the BIN price is $4,000).
