Doug,
Thank you.
I'm hoping that the new owner will appreciate everything that went into it, and care for it as well.
When I sold my first teardrop on E bay, I had some really wild questions from potential buyers, like; will you paint it and deliver it to California for me?
(They didn't want to pay me anything extra, they just wanted me to do this so they would buy it...??
About midway through the sale, a very nice lady started showing interest.
She asked a few questions, then a few more.
By the end, we were up to 23 E mails.
I was getting quite bothered by some of the flakes out there, and had had enough.
I was convinced that this lady was the one.
I saw to it that she won the auction, and have never regreted it.
She and her two children still tour and camp in it.
She's changed a few things to suit her taste, but she always understood and appreciated what it meant to me.
It is just a trailer, but many many emotions go into creating such a thing.
So many early mornings, lunch hours, weekends and holidays.
You live and dream the project for the duration.
But hey, much better than sitting in a bar wasting away!
Rob
Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...
