+1 for what Gage and others have written.

I pass through Chattanooga a couple of times a month, so your teardrop is not far out of my way. However, the difference between what I'm looking to spend and your $7K asking price is so great that I fear any offer I could make would seem unreasonable.

I'm still looking for a teardrop in somewhere in the SE. If I don't find one that suits me, and I manage to wrap up my other projects by then, I may try to build one this winter.

Why do people feel compelled to offer advice on price? The man knows what he paid for it, the man knows what he needs out of it to sell it. I think any other advice should be done privately. JMO

...well, you are probably right...however, this is an advice board as such and we tend to have a problem with shyness or a lack thereof...after this thread was bumped a couple of times, it seemed advice may have been needed for a quick sale...so us "nosy nellies" gave it...and heck, we didn't even ask for renumeration

There is a big difference between what someone paid and what it is worth.

You ask why? It's to help. And if you have a problem with that, then I really don't know what to tell you.

I just purchased a new silver shadow so to give you an idea on what people are looking for. Mine came to $7,900 after delivery charges AND the spare tire and mount, laminate counter tops, the Petcool heater and A/C unit plus the little hose/mounting kit. And it has 12v DC and 110 A/C and the roof vent with fan. The only thing it didn't come with was the 3 speed fan, mines a single speed, and the nifty fiberglass "retro" style fenders. This was for a 5 x 8 though and not a 5 x 10.

You're asking too much though, if someone can get a brand new one, plus all those goodies....

The economy is what it is, it will be worth that much to someone though, but it's a matter of equity vs. time here.

I can attest though that the trailers are nice.

Tearsofjoy,

I can't picture it. Pictures would do wonders to increase interest. Check here to learn how... http://www.mikenchell.com/pichelp.html
