I'll not speak for others, but I'm never offended by someone who offers a reasonable suggestion.
You've tempered your suggestion well.
You aren't demanding, you aren't upset, and you're voicing your opinion in a responsible manner.
Don't let being "new" get in your way, your voice is just as important as someone who is an "long timer".
New members equal new ideas, and new ideas benefit all!
I'll second Doug's thoughts.
When I'm shopping online, if there isn't a picture, the possible sale is finished, as in period.
I do not have time to E mail the seller, request, then wait for pictures.
I click the mouse, and move on.
If someone that is selling something worth over a hundred dollars can't be bothered to learn how to post a photo of the item, they don't seem very serious to me.
It is maddening...or amusing, depending on my mood... to read an online ad for a trailer, a car, a motorcycle, etc, with a huge price, like in the thousands, where the seller doesn't know how, or doesn't feel like it is worthy of their time and effort to figure out how to post photos of the item.
The ones that really get me, are when they ask 30-50 grand, but don't include a picture?
You want me to spend thousands on your item, but don't feel like I'd want to see a picture before I drive 500 miles to look at it?
