Its for our Oldie that we hope to use partially on the 2007 USA Tour.. Got to get it going.. chassis is already cleaned painted, new brakes, hoses, hubs all redone, tranny redone and now the engine..

right now it has a 216 which is seized up and good for a boat anchor..

If you happen to run into a nice running one please let me know..

Classic Finn

PS I think thats plenty big since gas is so high...

I have a 58 engine, not sure of the condition, I'd give it to you for $25 if you come to get it. Don't know if you'd be out this way, it's in southern California.

Can the condition of the engine be checked? Does it turn over? Do you know the mileage on it?

Could you snap some photos of it for me and email them?

Best wishes Classic Finn :)

Heikki... Ahhh shoot. I got plenty of small block chevy V8's... but no inline sixes. Too bad, I need to get rid of about three chevy 350s from the 70s... Gonna sell 'em cheap to with trannies. :o

I got me a 216 sittin near that Chev of an Oldie Truck... But it be frozen worse than the Poles themselves....

I reckon I can use it as an anchor for our Canoe??????
Too bad though... My 46 has a nicely running 216 so we be running it till it dies... but who knows I may die before it will... dont burn no oil as of yet.

With the gas prices here I dont think a 350 would be suitable at this time.
350,s I can get here too but hardly any 235,s or less.

Shucks,,,

Hey Finn ,
I've got a 59 vintage from a pickup. It's complete fan to bell housing., clutch and all. I already gave the tranny away. I was going to use it with the 2 duece manifold, electronic ignition and corvette split exhaust in a chopped, channeled and section 48 pickup. I've about decided to sell the whole mess and work on my 52 suburban. What part of the southern US does it need to be available? The motor was rebuilt about 8-10 years ago and has been driven 500-1000 miles. It was last run about 2 1/2 years ago. WHAT'S IT WORTH?

Hey, why buy an engine when you can make your own V8?

Ooh, ooh, I want my own 5-axis milling machine.....

Andrew

(PS I think this is a scale model of a V-8 block)
