SOLD Tear for sale in Kyle, TX near Austin $1,500

I am selling my tear drop
(bought a vintage trailer yesterday--1961)

The one I am selling was built in early 2006 by the man I bought it from.
Aluminum over plywood
It has current registration/license.
Comes with single/twin bed but it can accommodate a double
It has electric outlet inside and out and also battery with inverter
Comes with color TV and DVD player and antennae
spare tire
the person who built it stopped
short of some cosmetic things like a piece of trim missing etc.
There is nothing functional wrong with it== ready to go camping but
could use some paint in places and moldings if you want to pretty it up.
So I have reduced the price.
Water tight-does not leak
I keep it in the garage when not camping

more room inside because he made the kitchen under the hatch smaller
700 pounds towing weight

What's the back look like? The tree is hiding it. Is it flat and straight, no curve to the roof line.

Perhaps you can direct the new owners to this site :D
I'm sure everyone would love to see pics of your new (vintage) TD. Of course, when you have time 8)

It is a 61 Aljo completely gutted and stripped down to aluminum
murals of betty boop scenes painted on it
inside done to look like ranch house with real scuffed wood floors
rewired
electric
apt size refrig, microwave, hot plate,
sink
two beds that can make into one --look like couches when not made up
they put in betty boop tapes
and all retro napkin holders, canisters etc

Nice Kathleen. That'll fit right in with 'The Sisters on the Fly' Group. Nothing wrong with having a 'Big (?) Trailer'. We enjoy ours.
Mine.

Kathleen, the Heart of Texas Wings are having a camp-out at Inks Lake this weekend. The Wings are a group of vintage trailer owners, great group of folks. I would have liked to go but I have to work this weekend.

Check the bottom of this link:

Thanks Rocky for posting that link. Didn't know about that group. Although, looking at all the photos, I saw a few that I know from AZ and New Mexico.

Thank you
how far is that from austin?
sounds like an interesting group
The man that I bought this from said they just had the bearing done--it has new tires and a new spare
think I should take it in and just get the axle looked at just to make sure?
I would hate to be going down the road and have the axle break on me
