The Lil Guy isn't a bad deal. Especially since it comes with an $800 generator.

Although it looks like a nice trailer. 5K for an unfinished 4ft tear? Also, 3500lb axles is a bit much. I wonder why it is posted in the Portland Craigslist when their website says that their shop is in New Mexico.

The Casita is a good buy the only thing is that it doesn't have A/C. Doesn't say how old it is.

No A/C? Have you been up here? We haven't broke freezing in like two weeks.
I thought about calling to find out what year it was. Maybe go look at it. The whole family could camp in it I think. But then I'd have to get rid of the tear.

The Casita trailers are cute but...We made friends with a couple towing a Casita this past summer in Yosemite. They have had it for several years and were not happy with it. Walls sweat and the door latch has to be rebuilt after each trip. He said the whole trailer shimmies while being towed and wears out the latch. They had other complaints that I can't recall at the moment. There are cracks in the fiberglass shell where cabinets are attached. Buyer beware for anyone looking at a used Casita. :)Danny

I don't know how you do it, we haven't broke freezing in 2 days and I'm going stir crazy. I'm gonna try to make it to work tonight. I hope I don't get stuck there. I think the sheet of ice I call a driveway may have defrosted.

Hmmm I wonder if that is an isolated case, the Casitas and Scamps have been pretty much unchanged for 30+ years. You think they would have found and fixed these problems. A best bet would be to research it on http://www.fiberglassrv.com/
