Nice tear, He doesn't say when it was built, but it may be a bit over priced since it's uninsulated and looks like a 4'x8'. Only 6 hours and no bids makes me think people don't want to pay that much. :) Danny

:( 550 pounds must be before the batteries and propane and other stuff. Cherry wood inside and cherry stained in galley. Nope not $10,000. Maybe he put an extra 0 on it. 8)

I don't see any "cherry wood" anywhere? I think they mean just cherry stained wood? Less than 3 hours to go and 6 offers showing... Be interesting to see what is goes for... If it sells. I sure don't see anywhere near ten grand there either.

I get the impression that it's a consignment deal, the description says it belongs to an elderly lady. The trailer itself appears to have been built by Locke Nest Tears http://lockenestteardrops.com/
David Locke was featured in the RV Crazy show, I believe he's the guy they showed with the trailor boat. I'm sure he was also at the Lake Perris gathering this past weekend, anyone who attended that gathering care to confirm?

I hadn't noticed that is a California Tear... Maybe he'll get it? I think ya'll left coast folks pay a lot more than us Southerners for most things... out there in the land of the "1/2 million dollar 3/2 house"!!!

I know Dave and that is one of his teardrops. It's a 4' x 8' and there is no cherry wood in it. It also only cost the buyer/seller about $7000 new. I believe Dave built that tear about two years ago. And yes he was at Lake Perris this last weekend. He was the 'man' in charge (Deane was really in charge).

P.S. 550 is the dry weight when Dave is finished with the build.

Would I pay it....nope....but if someone wants it that bad...that's what it's worth and as long as they are happy with their purchase so what?...it only helps all the rest of us get resale prices up there...no point in giving anything away if someone is willing to pay the price...Kaaaa....ching$$$$$...Doug

Lordy! If I ever sell mine I am so going to Cal. You sure wouldn't get that around here. Not unless you got it gold plated or something.
