Wanted - tear in the SF Bay Area

I have been a lurker in this great site for some time. After some study, consideration , and wishing to build one of these tiny trailer, I am coming to the conclusion, it might be better to buy - rather than build. As much fun as it looks to build, I am afraid I just don't have the time.

Anyway, what I would like it be a 5 ft wide tear and long enough to fit me (I am 6'2"), aluminum siding, the usual kitchen, two entry doors. Something like the Generic Benroy would be great. I am in Northern California, so a 4 season trailer might be overkill. I am a very handy guy, so a certain amount of fix up would be fun. But I don't want to get into a complete restoration. My budget would be as high as 4k.

I wish I could make the Damm gathering this weekend, but Family obligations won't allow it. If any of you have or see such a trailer, please let me know. Thanks Jerry

Jerry--

Welcome to the nut house, I mean forum. :? Try a member search for SARGE. He hasn't been around in awhile. He lives in Concord. He purchased a Hunter Fat Shadow a few years ago then had a couple of kids and wasn't sure how to camp in a TD with the kids and a wife that wasn't keen on the idea in the first place. Since he hasn't been active around here he may be interested in selling.

Again, welcome to the group! Check with Lazybones about the Mendocino Gathering at Pt Cabrillo July 19-22.

Thanks for the heads up Rob. I will try to email Sarge to see if he is interested in selling. I noticed you also have the Hunter trailer (on you website). They look like a nice product.
