Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I am looking for an INEXPENSIVE older VW Beetle for a project. No Super beetle. Must have running or rebuildable engine and tranny. A little rust and bad floor pans ok. Not to concerned with roof condition, fenders or front body work. Old rag top would be nice as I plan on cutting the top off anyway. Within 300 or so miles of Fayetteville, NC 28304. You may want to keep a check on the Samba website in the classifieds. They are always listing type 1's on there for sale within reasonable driving distance of you.

I think the website is www.samba.net try it out and see. If that one doesn't try a search for it and see what pops up.

One word of caution though, it's addictive! Also, be careful of VW Vortex, seems that the cars on there have been or are in the process of being heavily modified and can be misrepresented, if you know what I mean.

Thanks. I'm well aware of thesamba site. Been a VW guy since the 60's. Just haven't had one in a few years and have two projects in mind. The VW tryke teardrop and a street rod. Bugs are too far out of my price range arround here. I want a fixer upper.
