That's been posted in the 'For Sale' section. Don't think it belongs to anyone on the board. Just wonder what he wants for it. Probably around $5000.

Towards the bottom of the ad it says the reserve price is $3500 and that it cost $6500 to build.

I really like those stained glass moon windows. If it wasn't all the way in Maine I'd love to go and at least get a look at it.

That's a good price. I didn't even see it the several times that I've looked at it. A course I don't look for what the reserve is when there is a reserve. That's kind of against ebay rules (or used to be). I'm like you, that's a long ways away to be going after it. With the bid already sitting at $3000, someone is going to get a nice teardrop.

See you at Minden. We're out of here in about 9 hours.

Hope you have a safe trip. We are taking off right after work on Wednesday and plan on making it to Pierre, SD that night. The more I read about Minden, the town, the more I'm looking forward to this trip. :wakka wakka:

Anyone we know selling this beauty? :o

That's a nice looking TD!

If I wasn't in the middle of a cargo trailer conversion I'd bid on this TD. $3500.00 reserve is not too bad. I wonder how high it will go? It ought to go for over $5000.00. I'm gonna watch & see.

I'll have a big sign on the front of mine and some RV type flags.

The sign is really orange. ;)

I am going to have to steal that idea. I was wondering how to incorporate Stained Glass into my TD. I was worried about it getting broken....

But the small round port looks to be good. It's the "small" part that makes it. I was thinking BIG!! :)

It will be a fun todoer for the future of my TD. Thanks for posting it.

Sounds like a lot but I'm sure it doesn't anywhere begin to cover the labor they put into it.

Actually, I think it was being 'sold' by a reseller and not by the original builder. His previous credits and sales and current sales on ebay are some classic cars and parts for them, and he sort of dodged around some specific questions that the original builder should have had at his fingertips.

I stopped bidding when he didn't answer the emails I sent asking him questions about the weight and interior dimensions--and then he changed the item description. It was a beautiful tear, but I don't deal with non-responsive ebay sellers.
