WANTED TO BUY CAMP INN TEARDROP

Postby Lilo » Wed Aug 15, 2007 8:53 pm

Wanted Camp-Inn Teardrop.

Prefer 550 but will take a look at any other Camp-Inn.
Must have A/C.
The more features the better.

Send me an email if you have one for sale or know of anyone who does.

Thanks :)

Podunkfla: Naaaah I've gotten 2 people who have contacted me so far this evening. I'd like to find a 550 however and the two were not. One decked out and the other no A/C.

A/C is a must.

Cary and my husband, Craig are the owners of Camp-Inn. Cary often posts on this forum.

Actually, it is not very often that used Camp-Inn's become available for sale. And when they do, they aren't around for long before they find a new home.

Note: Any Camp-Inn owners who are interested in selling their unit, please don't be shy. Contact Cary [email protected] and let him know. We quite often have people call asking if we know of any used ones for sale. We don't charge anything to help the transaction move along....We just want happy campers!

You just may have to buy a new one. That way you will get exactly what you want. And it's new!

Did you contact Cary at Camp-Inn? He's prolly your best bet. I imagine he hears from owners that might want to sell theirs occasionally. Although, I think "death in the family" is about the only reason anyone ever sells a Camp-Inn!? :D

Lilo:

As Brick has suggested ~
We haven't seen a Camp-Inn ever for sale on this site that I can remember.

There are Camp-Inn camping groups that you might contact,
but Cary is your best source.

You might re-evaluate your needs and just order a TD from Carry as getting
struck by lightning would come faster for you; then getting a chance to buy a used Camp-Inn TD.

Note: Camp-Inn most likely has a long lead time ... so
the sooner you come to the realization you must have one ...
the closer the time will be, you could have it in your driveway.

SDT: Actually this isn't correct. There are three - well now 2 used for sale. They are out there - just need to put the word out and keep eyes open.

Anyway, one has a 550 that the guy unfortunetly didn't take care of - and he wants almost what he paid for it. Some water damage/ possible mold and skin issues etc.

The other is a wonderful guy who wants more than what he paid full price 2 years ago. I hope he sells it but it won't be me. I would rather keep looking. You would be surprised what you can find if you look hard enough. :)
