I thank you for the suggestion however, I do not trust that venue at all. The fees and such have gotten way out of control not to mention the scams and the possibility of having to "give away" the car for mere pennies. I'm only asking what I have in the car and from the appraisals I have been able to explore, I'm not going to realize a profit and I don't expect to. I don't want to whine but, I just can't work on these things any more without great difficulty and it kills me to sell such a great car. Thanks again.
hi freebird,
just an FYI about using ebay---- i just sold my jeep on ebay... i sold it with no reserve, and started my price at $2500 and a BUY IT NOW price of $3400. Once the bidding reaches 70% of my BUY IT NOW price (which is $2380) ---so after the starting bid was placed for $2500, the BUY IT NOW price disappears, leaving the bidding to climb to however high it may go...
now granted a jeep is a pretty popular thing... however i ended up with 52 people "watching the item" and sold it for $4050. ($650 more than i originally would have sold it for.) cost to me for using ebay = $41.50... well worth it.
things to remember:
1. use "no reserve" -start your price at the bare minimum you're willing to sell the vehicle at.
2. offer a "BUY IT NOW" price to start out with...
3. put lots o' pictures with your listing
just wanted you to know,
good luck!
