Have you noticed any dry rot? Sure wish it was closer to California. The price looks right, should get it.

Dry Rot?

No dry rot or rot of any kind. This camper has been well maintained. It has been garage stored, and only seen the outdoors when on camping trips. The first time it rained during a weekend outing, I allmost cried because I knew it was going to need to be re-washed and waxed.

I had thought about it but we haven't been pushing it for sale to hard yet and we try to hide on that weekend every year, just like we do during the Hodag Country Fest. The camper has been held in reserve untill the re-furb of our new camper is completed. To be honest I didn't really want to sell it. We love this camper, and I drove all the way to Ohio to get it. But there's only so much room in the garage, and the new camper is going to take priority.

The new camper isn't a Tear, it's a Scamp 16', and it's currently is de-construction/re-construction.

A complete overhaul, with new paint, interior fabric/liner, insulation, knotty pine cab-facing, Lam flooring, re-wiring, and lots of fiberglass work.

A search for Redneck2_2006 on photobucket should get you to my album where I have some shots of the teardown and subsequent damage that was found.

Price will be reduced to $2650. We will be transfering the tires onto NEW steel wheels. The mags are going to be used on our new camper.

I'd buy this in a minute if you can get it closer to Arizona. I currently have two of these and with a little modification to the galley and some retro fenders they look and camp just fine. I am looking for a third at this moment and your price is right.

Sorry but the closest I'll be getting to AZ is South Dakota in 3 weeks. I have a friend that drives truck that might be headed south empty in a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure how far he's going either. I'll check and get back to you.

OK, let me know if you can set it up and at what cost.

Thanks,

The camper hasn't sold yet. I've been trying to find a local friend to transport nearer than AZ with no success. :(

Hope someone is interested enough to buy soon. I don't want to have to rent a storage building for the winter, and I'd rather not leave it outside.

The Little Guy is still for sale, I just got back from a 9 day trip so haven't been around to check on any private messages or e-mails.
