It is definitely pretty. 18 grand is a lot of money, though. Plus, without the car, it loses a lot of it's charm.

Yep... A little pricy without the car? I doubt he will get over 10 grand for it. Now, if that nice woody wagon was included... Whew, I bet it would go for big bucks! :o

Seems a shame to break them up? :(

A really nice touch with the finger joints in the framing.... makes it match the tow vehicle perfectly, I can't figure out why someone would bust up a combo like that however. It's such a one off thing...I'd think, if he can afford that Ford he can afford to keep them together, unless he has something else in the works. Doug

I agree, why break up a matched set. He'd probably get more for the pair than individually. I seriously doubt that buy it now price but then again 5 bids have bumped it to almost $10K.

Check out Camp Inn teardrops, they go for a lot more. Ed Esters last TD that was a 5'x9' went for around $10,000. I think this one will go for around $15,000. There's a lot of guys with woodies that would love to have that one.:) Danny

I've had an offer of $10K for mine but it wasn't enough for me to do it all over again. When you subtract out the cost of materials, what's left would be less than $33 a day for labor to build it. That's cheap.

I've had several offers of $20,000 for mine but Jane would kill me if I sold it. One RV dealer at a show last year said it's worth $23,000 compared to what he has seen for sale. I want to make another one though. :D Danny
