That's no Serro-Scotty Sportsman. It's just a copy by YoderToter. Just another new travel trailer that wants to be a Vintage Travel Trailer. Well, where ever the market is at.

I beg to differ. That is a Serro Scotty. Its construction has been authorized by the family that once produced them, and - please note - carries the Serro Scotty name. Nowhere in the ad does it say "vintage." Is a 2007 Airstream not an Airstream? How 'bout a 2007 Volkswagen Beetle? Not a Beetle?

I agree with tearfan. It is not a 19 something scotty but a 2007. It was out of production for a while is all. Like the camero's and mustangs and such that are being produced.

According to Yoder Toter's web site THIS is the Serro Scotty Sportsman. That looks more like what I remember.

This one is also a "Sportsman". I'm confused :?

Kurt -

Don't let that confusion ruin your holidays. Both links you sent are the same trailer.

Well, whatever we decide to call it, looks like a groovy little trailer!

Well you need to read my post again. I didn't say they were claiming it to be vintage. I understand the agreement they have with Serro Scotty, likewise the agreement they have with Hunter Shadow. Anyone who knows teardrops and vintage trailers can tell the differance with out even standing close to them. And between you and me, if I was in the market for a Sportsman, I'd go for the one built by Yoder. They have to be built better than the orig.

Is a 2007 Airstream not an Airstream? How 'bout a 2007 Volkswagen Beetle? Not a Beetle?
Well an Airstream is an Airstream. Which model are you talking about? Can you tell the difference between a Bubble and a Bambi? And then there is the new Bambi. And as far as Volkswagen is concerned. VW never called the new Bug a Beetle, just the salesmen and the owners (just like the T@B being called a teardrop by the salesmen and owners but not by the mfg.)

Your turn. ;)

Who's bickering? Just having a good old discussion on what something is or is not. The poster most likely is only in here to cover another market place to sale the Yoder Toter product.
