I am looking for a 1964 Plymouth Fury/Belvedere/Savoy 4door sedan/hardtop.
It has to be the '64. I do not care for the earlier or later models.
I would prefer the Belvedere, but will consider any of the others.
It has to be a 4door.
Can be a sedan or hardtop.
I prefer the 318 poly V8 engine.
Has to have automatic transmission.
I like tan or white exterior and tan interior, but will consider other colors.
Do not want a total junker. Would like it in good running condition or at least a good rolling chasis.
Any and all information will be appreciated.

My folks had a 1964 Belvedere wagon with the 318 and push button automatic. That was a great car, possibly the best car they ever had. I would love to have one. Good luck in your search.

One of my housemates in college had a 64 Fury Convertable with a 440 magnum---12 of us went to the drive in it for the $5 per carload special. I also remember we had 2 cases of beer and a case of Boones Farm.
Whatta car! Good luck in your search.

I had one my last year of high school. I bought it from an elderly lady for $900. It had one body repair at the rear window and a rust hole behind each rear wheel. Interior was great except one split on the drivers side. Factory original with 50+k miles on it.
When your young, dumb, and full of c__, things happen and you make the wrong decisions.
Here is one that I found so far.

Haven't heard from the owner yet.

I'm looking for a tiny/small trailer to pull behind my car. We go to a lot of car shows and I'm tired of hotels. I'm only 5'4' and hubby is only 5'9" so I think a teardrop trailer would suit both of us.
Thanks for any help you can give

Bailey,
I think the wagons are cool. I am trying to find one just like the one I had in high school. But I haven't scratched the wagons off the list.
Mary and Bob,
I've looked through the Hemmings books and mags. They always have something, but way out of my price range. I'm not into hotrods for myself. I would just like to have a weekend cruiser for the family. I just love seeing vintage cars that are almost to all original going down the road. I think they are sweet.
I hope I don't jinx it, but I think I may have found one that looks just like the one I had. It is a little rough in shape, but still a good looking car. I hope everything goes as planned. Everyone, cross your fingers.

Dooner,
A guy in my neighborhood has had a '64 wagon sitting in his driveway for years. It's beige and appears to be in good shape - he just drove it in one day and parked it. I'd be happy to investigate more if you'd like.

Thanks Corey,
My first choice is a four door sedan, but if this one doesn't pan out, I will PM you and any help you give will be greatly appreciated.

I'm getting the feeling that there some fingers out there that are not crossed.
UPDATE (if you care): The owner of the car wants to talk to her family to make sure that no one else in the family wants the car. The car heas been in her family since it was new. She has a sentimental attachment to it, but she is moving and doesn't have room for it anymore. She wants it to go to someone that will take care of it and not junk it.
It will be around May 19th when I should know something. So cross those fingers!
Here it is.

car looks good to me. good luck on getting it, keep us posted. is it close to you? I like the year 64, the year I graduated high school, and I have a 64 Ford Fairlane waiting restoration , hate to admit but it's been waiting a long time, as are many other projects. every time I go to Texas to visit family, I get excited over all the older cars and trucks with little or no rust, unlike here in the northeast. had to get a pickup in Arizona to replace my rusted out 78 Ford. how did you find this one, and is it just like what you wanted? Thanks for the luck.
It is exactly what i wanted. I've looked at quite a few of them and turned them down due to wrong color and too high price. Someone had done a search on their car and found my want ad on this forum. They contacted me, telling me that a friend has one in MO. The owner has a strong sentimental tie to the car. It was her Grandparents car. Her Dad bought it from them to give to her so she could drive it to college. She used it all four years and kept it afterward. She wants to make sure no one else in her family has a strong tie like she does. I hope they don't.

hope it's a small family and nobody wants it. If you get it, how will you get it home? I can tell you a good story of having my 76 pickup shipped from Arizona to New York, but it's kind of long. sent you a PM, and used up all the space and still didn't say it all. Good luck, I'm hoping for the best. Bob
