This is the one! Copied by all of the plan vendors, this little teardrop is considered to be one of the all-time classics. Its curvature and proportions are very desirable. This 1947 original teardrop is a factory version purchased off of the showroom floor. Complete and beautiful, this 4X10 foot trailer is in relatively great shape, just a few of small dings and dents. With some minor bodywork, it could be amazing. All of the wiring works and has been tested. Beautiful teak wooden sleeping interior with a clothes shelf – doubles as sleeping shelf for small child, custom light, and clothing cabinets overhead. Fully Insulated interior, top and sides! The trailer has a new working 2-burner propane stove, 22”x16”x12” custom insulated icebox, 11”x16” porcelain sink with working manual pump faucet, custom cabinets, propane tank w/ gauge, new 10 gallon poly water tank and working battery. Galley hatch door has been rebuilt with oak stringers and dual metal support sliders. It has a working dual light in the rear galley hatch for cooking at night. Check out the beautiful curved fenders of heavy aluminum. New tires and 1-7/8” hitch. Pull as is or an easy restore to perfection! Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions regarding the teardrop. I have tons of pictures that I can email you if you are interested. $5k OBO

This is be nice to a newbie day, you can see more small pictures on the craigslist post. Since his TD & TTT ad is a cut and paste from CL it is possible it is a scam, but I would give him the benefit of the doubt and bet he is just lacking forum decorum 8)

Not a scam - Just am a newbie for sure....

Hi, Thanks for the benefit of the doubt...I did cut and paste from my craigslist ad- because I'm that lazy... :) Don't really know all the rules and whatnot....I must say you are some kind of fast craigslist lookerupper, cause I just posted that minutes ago....wow!

I do like the idea of be nice to newbie day....hopefully it helps me sell it.
I have more pictures if your iterested....ones that are not on craigslist, but obviously same trailer.

Thanks,

Jon

Jon,

Thanks for being good natured about the ribbing. You will generate a lot of interest here if you take time to create your photo album and post some good quality pictures. There is a link above in blue for help with photos. We have a lot of traffic here with folks that are looking to buy a good classic. Lots of luck with your sale.

Thanks for the tip!

I am still quite new to the site and am still working on learning all the in's & out's. I'll be sure to get some photos posted, & maybe set up my photo album.

I agree it's one of the nicer teardrop profiles. Kenskill is another.

Welcome to the Forum.

I have a couple questions. Do you have a clear title on the trailer? I don't see a license plate on it. The other is more out of curiosity, The trailer is located in Santa Clara yet it's listed in Eugene, OR. What gives?

Santa Clara is part of Eugene...just the north tip of the city, absorbed years ago. As far as the liscence/title, no and no. My dad bought the teardrop back in the 70's and it's lived in Oregon it's whole life with us...in Oregon this trailer doesn't need to be licsenced...only bigger/heavier trailers do. Thanks for the interest....let me know if you need any other info.

Well that makes too much sense, who da thunk there would be a Santa Clara in Oregon. :?
Believe it or not, I knew about the trailer license thing in Oregon. Must have been suffering from half heimers or sumpthin. :o 8)

Well I went and listed it on ebay....
