Charles moved too fast for me to take pictures as he build the slide out.

We have under bed storage. inside the storage is a 1 1/4" pipe that is welded to both sides of the storage box. The pipe extends to the outside of the storage box on the drivers side.
Attached to the slide out is a 1" pipe that fits inside the larger pipe.
The bottom of the slideout just slide on top of the cabin floor as you close and open it. The 1" pipe just slides inside the larger pipe.

I hope i explained that where you can understand. There should be a picture in our build photos.

Charles finished build #4 and it sold on it's maiden voyage this summer. He will probably be starting on #5 before long so this teardrop is for sale again.

This slideout TD is awesome. I have seen it in person, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. I recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Have you any idea about how much it weighs? Is the bed mattress in sections. I'm trying to figure out how it looks in the closed position. Can one girly person pull it out?

We have not weighed this tear but it is heavy. The mattress is a queen size air mattress with a memory foam topper (sleeps great) so we inflate it after the slideout is opened up and deflate it and fold the mattress in half to close slide out. I have not tried to open the slideout myself but am pretty sure I can't. I'm just not the man I used to be. A few years ago I could have opened it easlily but have gotten weaker , especially in my arms.

We had it weighed and had it titled. Teardrop weighs 1880 lbs.

It has not sold but we have not advertised elsewhere.
