Toy Hauler Teardrop For Sale

Postby elmo » Wed Sep 03, 2008 2:57 pm

Time to make it official!!!

Selling this one so I can build another one that can be towed behind the car and not a toy hauler!

Built it over the winter 2 years ago. It is 5x9 with room for a queen size mattress.(futon style...need to keep the mattress so I don't tick off the wife) Kitchen/work area in the back with storage under the counter. Runs off of battery or electric. Fantastic Fan to keep you cool on those hot nights.

Started off grey and is now yellow. The original covering cracked a little so it was sanded down and epoxied and then painted...no problems now!

Pulls great behind a truck...needs to be pulled with a truck because of hitch height/weight when the motorcycle is up front. Been to Montana and back running 80-85 mph no problem. Also has great ground clearance.

Work area/kitchen. (tool box and cooler stay with me)

Bike loaded.

Well it isn't sold yet!!! 288 views and you are the first reply. I would of sold it a bunch of times on my motorcycle website if I lived on either of the coasts. If it sells good if not I won't be all that disappointed.

Are you going to the Camp Inn Gathering next weekend?? I maybe there...maybe...not sure yet, but almost 50% certain I might be kind of there!!

Yeah, it is the 26th, 27th and 28th. I might be going to a Paper Science banquet on the 25th, and then after that is done, maybe jot over to the camp ground. It all depends on if my work will let me get off Thursday and Friday. But come on!! I am on a student work program, and Paper Science is part of my major!!

Dianne
So, if you are going, I'll see you there, regardless of when I get up there.

Well I hope you can come. Be your normal self, wear your weird shirt...you could really scare the crap out of my friend that is supposed to be coming. Hell, she thinks I am weird, wait till she meets you!!  Umm...I mean...it would be very nice for her to be able to put a face to the person I have talked about so much...uhh...yeah...
;)

Aww come on, I get that all the time. Are you majoring in origami? Blah!! It is the science of making paper. The pulp, water and chemical mixture to make paper. The running of the machine and the mills.
I love it!! I find it so interesting. I worked in the school mill for a semester. Katherine (my friend that might be coming with me) would know a little bit more about it then me. She is still in the major. I had to leave to work on my math skills. But I will be going back.

My dream job is working in that mill. Wisconsin Rapids Paper Mill.
:beautiful: It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Dianne

But, ehm, back to the original post. Marvelous job. I really liked the way it looked.
Who ever gets this trailer will have something to show off.

Hi Dianne, I actually handle that paper in my job. I am a paper-hanger at a printing plant. We could talk paper at the Camp-Inn gathering. Just kidding. See ya there, Dennis

I use to pick up at that plant when I was driving truck. They had a little pink restaurant to eat at right down the road, but they picked up the building and moved it and I haven't been able to find it since.

I have land in Big Flats about 13 miles south of there.

Dianne,

Alot of my family either work in that mill or did at one time. I know that one very well being from the Rapids area originally. My dad always has been the dissenter working down the road for those "other" mills.

A good friend of mine from high school went to school for paper science and now has a very good job over in the Appleton area. He has been very happy with his choice. Though he always was a real chemistry wiz so it came easy for him.

I'm jealous. :( I prolly won't be able to go back to Stevens Point to get the degree because my cham and math skills are not up to par, but I will see what happens. But thats cool. I will be looking forward to talking paper at the Camp-Inn Camp-Outt!!
