I've found one for sale and was wondering what they were going for or how much you would pay for it.
All I know is that is all original and not tagged at the present time. Has title.

A 13' Silverside? Really sweet little trailer & Scotties are regaining popularity!

It really depends on how sound it is, and how much water damage

Most Scotties require extensive rebuilding due to water leaking in around the side moldings into the walls and particularly the front & back.

John Serro in his infinite wisdom (read cheap) decided to use spiral nails to attach this molding with. The spiral nails back out, the molding pulls away and water gets in to do it's thing!

Really check out that top/side molding & give us an idea of extent of water damage.

In really good POLISHED state I've seen 'em $3000-8,000.

If it's a basket case with lots of water damage you'll spend $5,000 just to fix her up,

Does it look anything like this 1960?



I paid $550 for mine. It needs some TLC, but I think it's in pretty good condition considering the year. It's getting really hard to find old trailers anymore considering the price of scrap. If the one you're looking at is in good restorable condition, I'd say it's worth from $700 - $1200. If you love Scotty's - BUY IT! Chances are, you won't find another 1960. You can also search eBay's "completed auctions" to find out what something similar would bring.

I looked at alot before i got one 1200 .Most were about 3000 ready for camping. Like the others said look for the water spots. THe one igot is a 1982 15 highlander.
