Nothing like an original or at least a restored original.

Sold for $2000. My, 21 bids. Someone really wanted this one. I guess there won't be any more originals. I threw $1300 at it, which was double what I bought mine for, and it still climbed higher. I hope the new owner is on this forum. I think a KIT reunion would be cool sometime! Maybe a 62 year get together this year at Minden?!?

True, there is nothing like an original. it's a personal thing. I love old victorian houses, but would never own one. There was only one old trailer I bid on at ebay, it was a metzendorf..... polished, in great shape, was used in car shows... had been fully restored and it looked like it might go at a decent price.

Other than that, no interest in something old that is a project. would rather build exactly to my personal needs. have enough other projects, like tv, airplanes... hey, that's why I retired.

Every time I see a really nicely restored hot rod, I get tired thinking about all the work in it... already did all that stuff when I was younger.
