For Sale. 1981 Honda C70 Passport. Lightweight, so you can take it camping with you, and quiet, so it won't bother the campers.

If you went to LCG3, then you saw it. If not, there's a photo below, and as you can see, it does run.

Actually, it runs quite well for it's age. I park it for weeks at a time, and it starts right up with key.

I put a new seat cover and two new tires on it a few months ago. The battery is about a year old.

It is street legal, and has plates on it now for Texas.

I'm asking $1500 for it, which is the going rate on these things in this condition, which is pretty good. Pristine C70s can go for up to $2500. I'd rate this one between a 7 and 8 out of 10.

 CD, I'm glad you weren't trying to sell it at LCGIII. I don't know how I'd have ridden two motorsickles home. Someone should jump on $1500. It's a sweet little ride and well worth that. However, Susie dresses it up a little better.Image[/img]

Don't do it CD. Find something else to sacrifice. I had that exact bike and sold it about 3 or 4 years ago. I sure wish I had it back. Now I have a moped with the same size engine but about half the quality and power of that passport. Mine was in almost identical condition but I didnt realize the value and sold it for much cheaper than it was worth. *cry*

have you tried putting it on craigslist in your area?

I put an ad in trying to get a set of left-handed golf clubs cheap... but I guess their are no lefties around here willing to give theirs up... yet.

That is a sweet little ride. I agree with Wimperdink. You're going to be sorry you sold it. But if I had the cash, I'd take it off your hands and not feel guilty about it. :D
