Even if it was. That price is exaggerated.

Absurd, especially in this economy.

Enjoyed reading the old advertisements.

Really, if your on drugs...we can get you help!

Yes it is a rare piece but another one just like this (and it may very well be this one) sold for about $6000 a year or so ago.

Put down the Pipe.

Happy Trails

I wonder if he got Rob's permission to use a picture of Rob's Cabin car in his collage of photos?

Hey guys,

Can't talk now, I'm too busy building cabin cars...boy, am I gonna be rich!!!

That price has gotta be a mistake...no?

Whoever the seller is didn't ask...but I guess I should be pleased that along with the "borrowed" photos, they included a picture of the reproduction thinking it was a "real" one...

Rob

PS. Hiker chick, if you enjoyed what they posted, you might enjoy my cabin car page with info, brochures, and pictures of the originals.

For the same price you could get a bigger couch... well actually a LOT more than the couch... a nicely loaded 25ft, 2008 Signature Airstream at Colonial...

http://www.colonialairstream.com/newinventory/8470.html

You choose...

$47,999 for a Cabin Car that needs a LOT of work...

Image

or $49,995 for a nice new shine and on sale beauty (I'm sure they would meet the price of the Cabin Car and take off another $2K)...

MY GAWD!!!! ... that guy is INSANE!!!!

But ... if it's the one I think it is ... residing in LaJolla ... it's TBE (To Be Expected)! Only a former Wall Street banker would expect a 800% return on a ten year investment ... ...!

Im with LEN

Dude, get off the crack....

He has a "make an offer" option on this auction.

I say every one should flood his mail box with 2-3 thousand dollar offers just to freak him out... :dead:

Now kidding aside, it is a neat trailer and I'm sure its worth a pretty penny, but $47 Grand?

Does anybody know what these go for?

HEY ROB You should ask him for a commission or an override for using your advertising.

You can tell that the guy is an antique collector by the cars in the background - probably bought it and thinks it will sell to the collectors crowd
