Gee, that is a serfistikated Dormobile - it's got a fridge!

Ours didn't have one, but then it was a little older, without them fancy wrap-around pannyramic rear winders:

Like I said before, travelling with the sliding doors open (in the age before seat belts) was a big thrill.

I was very good at steering, 'cos I had one of those rubber-suction steering columns/wheels just like Maggie Simpson.....

And I was looking again at the car in the background....is that an Austin A35?

'Wales 1961' it says on the box of slides and we certainly visited the Talyllyn Railway on the same trip.

It could be an A35 in the background, but actually I think the A35 was higher and narrower than that car. My guess (and even with the slide in my hand, it's still a guess) would be a Ford Anglia/Popular/Prefect 100E like this:
