I am new to the group but thought this would be a great place to start our search. my husband and I want a very basic 5 foot wide teardrop that we can make our own little by little. we would build it our self but we live in an apartment and just dont have a place to do a project of that size, homemade or something from a small shop is best the mass produced ones just dont have the same charm. ok so basic is kind of a understatment we want it to have the frame, body, doors and windows intact (it dose not need to have the aluimum skin on the out side since we want to paint it) and possibly the basic outline of the kitchen (shelvs, cupoards ect) but thats really it, and we would be willing to drive a day or two to get it and we dont need it this second. ok so the catch since we are young and broke we would like to keep the price as much under 1000.00 as we can. So any body got any ideas we would love to hear them.
I am thinking Mike sold his EScape hatch for less than that. It does happen! Just be careful what you get when you buy!
